Delivery at the moorings
We can leave the car in the port area or at hotels and apartments in Nueva Andalucía, a couple of minutes away. We agree the time over WhatsApp so it is waiting when you arrive.
Short distances, heavy use
Banús is six kilometres from central Marbella and fifteen from San Pedro. These are short hops repeated several times a day, so the car earns its keep far more than on a typical trip.
Evenings
Access roads clog up after eleven. Leave with time to spare and use the upper car parks — they almost always have space when the lower ones are full.
Good to know
The marina car park is underground and tight
The car park below the marina has short ramps and narrow bays. With a Cayenne or a G 63 use the upper levels, or the open-air car park next to El Corte Inglés.
The front row fills up after dark
The quayside is a display strip: from May to September, after nine in the evening, driving past the yachts is a test of patience. Arriving before eight saves you half an hour.
Nueva Andalucía is three minutes away
Golf Valley starts right behind the port. If you are staying in Aloha, Las Brisas or Los Naranjos, cutting through the urbanisation reaches the A-7 faster than the main roundabout.
Which car suits best
Sports cars dominate here: Porsche 911, Porsche 718 and Audi R8. The Ford Mustang convertible also works well for the seafront run between Banús and Marbella.

Do you deliver inside Puerto Banús?
Yes — to the hotel door, the apartment, or the marina car park itself. Puerto Banús is part of Marbella, so delivery is free.
Can I park in front of the yachts?
Only while driving past. The front row is slow-moving and restricted on summer evenings. The practical option is the underground marina car park and a hundred metres on foot.
Which car looks the part without being awkward here?
A convertible or a compact sports car. The 911, the 718 and the M4 Cabrio handle the port ramps well; a big SUV turns just as many heads but is harder to park.
How long is the drive from the airport?
Around 45 minutes on the AP-7. On the free A-7, between one hour and an hour and a half in high season.
Should I book ahead in summer?
In July and August, yes: convertibles and sports cars go one to two weeks out. The rest of the year two or three days is enough.
Can I leave the car overnight and go out?
The marina car park is open 24 hours, so you can leave it there and collect it the next day. We charge nothing extra for standing time.
