Luxury car hire in Marbella
Marbella has the highest concentration of high-end cars in Andalusia, and for good reason: here a car is part of the plan rather than just transport. Between the Golden Mile, Sierra Blanca and the developments along the Istán road, taxis are expensive and awkward, while your own car opens up the whole coast with no timetable to follow.
Why a car makes sense here
The Golden Mile and Sierra Blanca
The stretch between the centre and Puerto Banús is lined with hotels and gated villas. We deliver straight to the door — no counter, no queue, no office visit.
Roads inland
The A-355 towards Ojén and Monda starts in Marbella: wide sweeping bends with sea views, and the landscape changes completely within twenty minutes. It is the route our sports-car clients repeat most.
Parking and town
The old town is pedestrian, but the Avenida del Mar and La Alameda car parks are a few metres away. A compact car suits daily errands; a convertible makes far more sense on the coast road.
Good to know
AP-7 or A-7: decide before you leave the airport
The AP-7 toll road reaches central Marbella in about 40 minutes and costs roughly €10 from AGP. The free A-7 runs through Torremolinos and Fuengirola: in July and August the same drive stretches to an hour and a half.
Park at the old town, don't drive into it
The streets around Plaza de los Naranjos are pedestrian. The practical move is the Alameda or Avenida del Mar car park and a five-minute walk down to the seafront promenade.
The Golden Mile crawls in summer
The stretch between the centre and Puerto Banús packs hotels and beach clubs onto a single road. From June to September allow 25 minutes for six kilometres and use the venue's own valet parking.
Which luxury car makes sense in Marbella
It depends where you sleep. On the Golden Mile and in Puerto Banús a convertible or a sports car wins, because the valet handles parking. In Sierra Blanca, Nagüeles or Los Monteros the SUV wins: continuous ramps and sloped villa entrances.
Convertible or SUV
From May to October a convertible justifies itself; the rest of the year people use the roof less than they expect. An SUV works all twelve months and is what long stays book most.
Which car suits best
Marbella favours the Porsche 911, Audi R8 and convertibles — BMW M4 Cabrio and Mercedes C Cabrio. For families and longer stays, the seven-seat BMW X7 and Mercedes GLS.

Frequently asked questions
Do you deliver the car to my hotel in Marbella?
Yes. We bring the car to the door of your hotel, villa or apartment anywhere in the municipality, including the Golden Mile, Sierra Blanca, Nagüeles and Los Monteros. Delivery in Marbella is free.
How long is the drive from Málaga airport?
About 40 minutes on the AP-7, and 55 to 90 minutes on the A-7 depending on the hour. If you land between 18:00 and 21:00 in summer, plan for the upper end.
Which car suits the old town best?
A compact SUV or a convertible. Access roads to the historic centre are narrow and underground ramps are short: a GLC or a Macan fit easily, a GLS or an X7 will need manoeuvring.
Can I collect in Marbella and drop off at the airport?
Yes, and most guests do. We pick the car up at the address you give us and take it to AGP ourselves; the airport return is included.
What deposit do you take?
It depends on the car: from €1,000 on the entry models up to €5,000 on a Cayenne or a G 63. It is blocked on your card and released when you hand the car back.
Is the drive up to Ronda worth it?
It is the classic day trip from Marbella: 100 kilometres on the A-397, roughly two hours of continuous curves. In a low sports car take the mountain pass section gently.
What does luxury car hire cost in Marbella?
From €60/day on the long tier with a Mercedes C Cabrio, and from €120 for one or two days. A Porsche 911 starts at €250/day on rentals over a week.
Which SUVs do you have for Marbella?
Eleven, from the Range Rover Evoque to the Mercedes-AMG G 63. For the hillside estates we suggest a Macan, SQ5 or X5; for seven seats, the GLS or X7.
