People rent a sports car here for two different reasons, both fair: to actually drive the mountain roads, or to arrive in Puerto Banús and be seen doing it. We do not judge between them — we bring the car where you say, with a full tank.
For driving: the A-397
A hundred linked bends between San Pedro and Ronda, good tarmac and light traffic outside August. This is the road people rent a 911 or an R8 for on this coast.
For arriving: Puerto Banús
The marina front row moves at walking pace after nine in the evening in summer. There the car is looked at, not driven, and the valet handles parking.
Worth knowing first
Low sports cars scrape on underground car park ramps and on the speed bumps inside urbanisations. Enter at an angle and slowly; insurance covers a lot, underbodies not always.

What does a day cost?
From €150 for the Porsche 718 and from €600 for the Audi R8. From three days the daily rate drops a tier.
What deposit do you take?
From €3,000 to €5,000 depending on the model. It is blocked on the driver's card and released on return.
Is there a special minimum age?
The same as for the rest: 25 and a licence held two years. For the most powerful models we discuss the driver's experience when confirming.
Can I rent one just for a photo shoot?
Yes, one day is the minimum. Many do exactly that for weddings and shoots; give us the location and we bring the car there.
