Luxury car hire in Casares
Casares is one of Málaga's most photographed white villages, clinging to a hillside at around four hundred metres. It also has a coastal strip, Casares Costa, fifteen kilometres from the old town: two realities joined only by road.
Why a car makes sense here
The MA-8300
Twenty minutes of tight bends separate the coast from the village. This is the stretch that justifies renting something with character.
A pedestrian village
The old town is narrow and stepped; you park below and walk up.
A scattered coast
Casares Costa is a string of developments along the A-7, with no centre or continuous services.
Good to know
Fifteen kilometres of climbing from the coast
The white village sits up the mountain from Casares Costa on a narrow, winding road. About twenty minutes: pretty by day, demanding at night because there is no lighting.
You park below the village
Casares is built on a hilltop and many streets take no cars. The car park at the entrance is the reference point; from there everything is uphill and on foot.
Casares Costa and Finca Cortesín are on the flat
The coastal strip and the golf area are another world: wide roads and easy access. Twenty minutes separate coast from village, so choose your base deliberately.
Which car suits best
For the climb, an agile car: Audi RS3 or Porsche Macan. For the coast, any comfortable SUV.

Frequently asked questions
Do you deliver to the village or only the coast?
Both. We drive up to the white village and also deliver in Casares Costa, around Finca Cortesín and in the golf urbanisations.
How long is the drive from the airport?
Around an hour to the coast on the AP-7, plus twenty minutes if you go up to the village.
Is there a delivery surcharge?
Casares lies west of our free axis; we confirm the amount when you book and always before charging.
Which car do you recommend for the climb?
A narrow one. The village road has tight bends and passing points with little margin: a GLC or a Macan works far better than a GLS.
Can I do Casares and Estepona in one day?
Yes, they are twenty-five minutes apart. Many people pair a morning in the village with an afternoon on Estepona's beach.
What is the fuel policy?
Full to full. Note there is no petrol station in the village: the nearest is on the coast, at the Estepona exit.
