Cabopino has a compact marina with limited spaces. In summer, from eleven in the morning, you leave the car on the upper apron and walk down five minutes.
The Artola dunes are protected
Beach access crosses a natural monument: parking outside marked areas is not allowed. Fines for leaving cars on the dune verge are common in August.
Direct A-7 access in both directions
The Cabopino junction lets you join and leave towards both Marbella and Fuengirola without a U-turn — not a given on this part of the coast.

Yes, the marina has several. For anything else — supermarket, pharmacy, central Marbella — you need the car.
